Midland Introduces a New Line of Action Cameras
Las Vegas, NV – Midland Radio Corporation, whose products have long been popular in the outdoor enthusiast community, is proud to announce its new line of extreme action cameras, the XTC Series.
Understanding the need for simplicity, Midland’s XTC Series of action cameras utilize a single slide switch to power on, record and power off. “When your adrenaline is amped and you are ready to go….the last thing you want to worry about is whether the power is on”, noted Juston Carr, an outdoor enthusiast who tests our products in extreme applications.
Stabilization, durability and versatility were the primary focus of the development to ensure quality results while capturing high impact activities. Typically, those utilizing action cameras do not want multiple takes nor may have the luxury to do so. So careful scrutiny to ensure successful footage on the first take was vital.
The XTC Series maintains the Midland reputation for durability after passing rigorous quality control tests involving intense vibration, drop-tests, lighting consistency and varying sound levels. “Our quality control process is probably the toughest in the industry. The Midland name stands for durability and reliability, and the XTC Series will further that reputation” according to Lindsey Houseworth, Midland Product Manager.
Versatility was also key in developing the accessories for the XTC Series. These compact and streamlined action cameras have optional mounts for multiple applications such as, goggle, helmet, helmet strap and window mounts with more in development.
